We believe that youth can help find solutions to many of the problems that face our communities.  The Kinston Youth Enrichment Project gives youth the opportunity to participate in monthly service learning activities.

Kindness from Kids is the theme for our youth service learning initiatives because we feel that youth can make a difference, too.

Young Women of Promise served as a Youth Service America Lead Agency for the 2009 Global Youth Service Day and was recently selected to be a Lead Agency for the 2010 Global Youth Service Day and the Semester of Service which spans from the time period of Martin Luther King Holiday (January 18, 2010) through Global Youth Service Day (April 23-25, 2010).

Our elementary school youth participate in our Promises Kids Care Club which is a program of the HandsOn Network.
