Jermaine T. McNair is a community organizer, outreach specialist and founding director of the nonprofit, NC CIVIL a nonprofit organization that supports grassroots development in underserved communities. Hailing from a troubled background, Jermaine combines his personal experiences together with a growing study of social structures to build partnership programs that engage inner-city communities with the institutions that serve them for improved service delivery.
Along with being a proud and active father, Jermaine is currently enrolled as a Master’s student in the ECU School of Sociology.
Clemons attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies and then North Carolina Central University School of Law where he received his law degree. While at NCCU, Mr. Clemons participated in a variety of activities to enhance his legal skills. Mr. Clemons was a starting member of the School’s Trial Advocacy Team where he had the opportunity to gain priceless practical experience through his participation in various clinical programs. Mr. Clemons worked with the juvenile defense section, in which he helped many young students who were suspended and expelled, get back into school and defended juvenile offenders in a variety of criminal acts. Mr. Clemons worked as an assistant district attorney in Orange County, and he worked at the Pitt County Public Defender’s office.
Mr. Clemons began his professional legal career as an associate with The Brown Law Firm, PC in Greenville, NC. While at The Brown Law Firm, PC, Mr. Clemons had the opportunity to represent a large volume of clients in the areas of Criminal Law, Traffic, and Personal Injury Matters. Despite his success with The Brown Law Firm, PC, Mr. Clemons decided to follow his dream of starting his own law firm and he began The Clemons Law Firm.
As an Ordained Minister, C. Tyrell Clemons understands that all people have their shortcomings and that all people make mistakes. Mr. Clemons is committed to helping people learn from their mistakes. He takes his role as a counselor and an attorney very seriously. He works tirelessly to help all of his clients because he realizes that Bad Things Happen to Good People.
Jumail DEUCE Blount, is a Greenville native who has grown into an entrepreneur and staple in the community. A graduate and standout basketball player at JH Rose High School, went on to earn a basketball scholarship to NCCU. He's very active in mentoring young men. DEUCE is also an author, a clothing designer, event planner, radio personality, owns a cologne line, a middle school basketball coach, motivational speaker and so much more. Just a very ambitious, funny, real and humble human being that loves the youth, his city and giving back.
